Our Environment

MiniStars provides an environment for effective, active learning, where there is  a combination of child-initiated and adult-led activities.  The environment plays a key role in supporting and extending children?s development and learning. Enabling environments encourage babies and young children to play because they feel relaxed and comfortable.  When children feel emotionally safe and secure they are able to explore and find out about the place they are in and the things they can see, touch, manoeuvre or manipulate.

Our children are encouraged to make independent choices and develop their critical thinking. The room has defined areas of learning and activities are changed throughout the day depending on children?s interests, requests and learning adventures
